On Public Displays of Affection

Okay, let me give you MY view on this, so there is no doubt in your mind how I see things:

PDA is A-OK IF it's an acceptable form of it.  No one wants to see you making out with someone, I'll admit that much.  However, having your arm around someone is a sign of affection that doesn't harm anybody, doesn't cause any impure thoughts (despite the thoughts of some) and doesn't do anything but make the people involved very happy.  Part of being in a relationship is closeness, and having your arm around someone shows this closeness.  Hugs are also A-OK.

In addition, there is no reason why you should be doing something past hugs (or having your arm around someone, which is basically a prolonged hug) publicly.  Hand-holding, okay, that's less contact than a hug, so it's okay.  A peck on the cheek is okay occasionally, just don't do too many of them.  You shouldn't be making out publicly.  Get a room.  This goes double if you're doing more than that.  Enough already.

These are definitely my thoughts, not yours!
